Seasonal Business Loan

Seasonal peaks are predictable — but the cash needed to prepare for them arrives before the revenue does. A seasonal business loan lets you stock up, hire temporary staff and ramp up marketing ahead of your busy period, then repay from the revenue it generates.

Who uses seasonal business loans

Retailers and e-commerce businesses buying stock ahead of Christmas, Easter or a promotional event. Hospitality and event companies hiring staff and equipment for the summer or festive season. Garden centres, landscapers and outdoor businesses preparing for spring. Tourist-related businesses building inventory ahead of the peak travel period.

The common thread: income is concentrated in a window, but costs begin two to four months before that window opens.

Credicorp seasonal loan: what you get

  • £5,000 to £250,000 drawn ahead of your peak.
  • Fixed term up to twelve months — aligns with a typical seasonal cycle.
  • Fixed daily rate — agreed before drawdown; no variable-rate risk.
  • No personal guarantee required.
  • Same-day decision in most cases; Open Banking is the primary data source.
  • Early repayment with no exit fee — helpful if the season exceeds expectations.

When to apply

Apply six to eight weeks before your peak preparation spend begins. This gives time for Open Banking to confirm your trading pattern and for you to plan supplier payments accurately. Drawing down too early increases the daily cost; drawing down too late risks missing supplier deadlines.

Credicorp decisions are typically same-day, so you do not need to allow weeks for approval — but applying before you are in an urgent position usually produces a more considered facility.

Common questions

Can I apply during my quiet period?

Yes, and it is often the best time. We assess your average monthly turnover over the previous three to six months — if your annual revenue is strong but concentrated in a season, that pattern is visible through Open Banking and works in your favour.

What if the season is disappointing and I cannot repay on time?

Contact us as early as possible. We have a formal payment arrangement process and prefer to agree a workable plan rather than start enforcement action.

Can I extend the term once the loan is running?

The term is fixed on drawdown. If circumstances change significantly, speak to us — we assess extensions case by case, but they are not guaranteed.

Do I need to prove the seasonal nature of my business?

Open Banking data does this automatically. A seasonal pattern — low inflows outside the peak, high inflows during it — is visible from your account history and strengthens your application.
