Invoice Finance

You have invoiced. Your customer has 30, 60, or 90 days to pay. Meanwhile your own suppliers need paying and your payroll is due. Invoice finance bridges that gap — letting you draw cash against outstanding invoices rather than waiting for payment terms to expire.

Invoice discounting vs factoring

Invoice discounting (or selective invoice finance) lets you draw cash against specific invoices while retaining control of your sales ledger and customer relationships. Your customers never know a lender is involved.

Invoice factoring assigns your receivables to the lender, who takes over credit control and collects directly from your customers. Faster to set up and cheaper for high volumes, but visible to your buyers.

Credicorp does not offer either of these debtor-book products. What we do offer is a short-term unsecured business loan — a simpler, equally fast alternative for businesses that need to bridge a single cash-flow gap without assigning their invoices or disclosing a finance arrangement to their customers.

Why businesses choose our loan over invoice finance

  • No invoice assignment — your receivables stay on your books.
  • No customer disclosure — your business relationships are unchanged.
  • Fixed term, fixed rate — you know the total cost before you sign.
  • No personal guarantee. No debenture. No minimum monthly volume.
  • Same-day decision for most applications via Open Banking.
  • Repay early at any point, no exit fee.

Eligibility

UK-registered limited company. At least six months of trading history. Average monthly turnover of £8,000 or above, visible through Open Banking. No current insolvency proceedings against the company.

Common questions

Can I use your loan to cover a single outstanding invoice?

Yes — that is a common reason for applying. You borrow a lump sum, use it to cover your cash-flow gap while the invoice runs to payment terms, and repay when the customer settles.

Do I need to tell my customers?

No. Our facility is a straightforward unsecured loan against your business cash flow, not invoice discounting or factoring. Your customers have no involvement.

What is the maximum I can borrow?

Up to £250,000 in a single drawdown. The offer is based on your cash flow, not a percentage of a specific invoice value.

How long does the application take?

Most applications are decided the same business day. The critical step is granting Open Banking access — the rest of our process is automated and usually takes minutes.
