Operations Associate

Remote (UK-based) · Full-time

Credicorp is a UK business lender. We provide short-term cashflow finance to UK limited companies and LLPs — we do not lend to consumers. We are a careful, group-backed UK lender — part of the CM Beyer group — and we are looking for an Operations Associate to help keep the day-to-day running smoothly.

This is a hands-on role at the centre of the business. You will work across onboarding, customer support and account administration, making sure every business we deal with is handled accurately and treated fairly.

About the role

Operations is where the lending actually happens. You will help process applications from limited companies and LLPs, check that the information we hold is complete and correct, and keep customer records tidy and up to date. You will be a first point of contact for business customers who have a question, and you will help make sure payments, arrangements and queries are followed up on time.

You will work closely with our underwriting, collections and compliance colleagues, and you will have a direct say in how we improve the processes you use every day.

What you will be doing

  • Onboarding new business customers — verifying company details, reviewing documents, and setting accounts up correctly.
  • Responding to customer enquiries by email and phone, clearly and patiently, and escalating anything you are unsure about.
  • Keeping our records accurate, including chasing missing information and correcting errors before they become problems.
  • Supporting the collections and arrangements process, including helping customers in difficulty find a sensible way forward.
  • Spotting where a process is slow, unclear or error-prone, and helping us fix it.
  • Working within our policies on affordability, fair treatment and data protection.

What we look for

  • Care and accuracy. You read the detail, you double-check, and you do dull jobs properly.
  • Clear, plain writing. You can explain a decision or a process to a business owner without jargon.
  • Good judgement. You know when to make a call yourself and when to ask.
  • Comfort with numbers and systems — spreadsheets, CRMs and internal tools — and a willingness to learn ours.
  • A genuine wish to treat customers fairly, including the ones who are struggling.

You do not need previous lending experience. Experience in operations, customer support, bookkeeping or administration is useful, but we care more about how you work than where you have worked.

Where and how you will work

This role is remote, but you must be based in the UK and eligible to work here. We work normal business hours, with some flexibility, and we keep meetings to a minimum. We will give you the equipment you need.
