Credicorp Limited (company number 16093826, registered office Suite 53C Unimix House, Abbey Road, London NW10 7TR) is committed to a zero-tolerance position on modern slavery and human trafficking in any form. This statement describes the steps we take to make sure neither our operations nor our supply chain involves any practice prohibited by the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
We publish this statement voluntarily — our turnover is below the statutory threshold — because the standard it sets is the right one for any responsible UK business.
1. Our business
We are a small UK lender. We lend to UK incorporated body-corporate borrowers (limited companies and LLPs) for business purposes. We have a small UK-based workforce. We do not source physical goods at any meaningful scale and we have no manufacturing supply chain.
2. Our risk assessment
We assess modern-slavery risk using three layers:
- Sector and geography. Our supplier categories (professional, regulated financial, technology) sit in the lowest tier of modern-slavery risk per independent indices, and our suppliers are UK-based.
- Pre-contract due diligence. For any supplier engagement above a small monetary threshold we ask for the supplier's own modern-slavery statement (if applicable), a statement of compliance with our Supplier Code, and evidence of right-to-work practice in the supplier's own hiring.
- Ongoing review. Supplier contracts include a modern-slavery clause that allows us to terminate where a supplier is found to be non-compliant. Material suppliers are re-reviewed at renewal.
3. Our colleagues
All colleagues complete an induction that includes the modern-slavery policy, the indicators of forced labour and human trafficking, and the routes for raising a concern. Colleagues in customer-facing roles also complete the firm's vulnerable-customer training.
4. Reporting a concern
If you believe you have seen evidence of modern slavery or human trafficking — in our operations, in a supplier we use, or anywhere else — please tell us straight away:
- Email concerns@credicorp.co.uk (monitored daily by the Compliance Officer).
- Or report directly to the Modern Slavery Helpline on 08000 121 700 (24 hours).
- If you suspect someone is in immediate danger, call 999.
Reports can be made anonymously. We will not penalise anyone for raising a concern in good faith — see our Whistleblowing Policy for the full protection that applies.
5. Approval
This statement was approved by the directors of Credicorp Limited and was last reviewed in May 2026. We review it at least annually.
