Keeping your contact details up to date is one of the most useful things you can do as a Credicorp customer. We send important communications by post, by email and (when you have agreed) by text message, and we cannot reach you if those routes are out of date.
What to do
The quickest way to update your details is the Update Your Contact Details form on our Forms & Requests page. The form covers:
- address change (including a temporary forwarding address);
- new phone number, or removal of a number you no longer use;
- new email address;
- preferred contact times or channels.
For straightforward changes we will normally update your record within two working days and write to confirm. If a change affects how a Direct Debit is reported (very rare — only when bank details change) we will tell you what to expect.
Changing your name
If you have changed your name — for example on marriage, civil partnership, divorce or by deed poll — we need to update our records to match. Please use the Update Your Contact Details form and tell us the change, and send us a copy of a supporting document. The kind of document we are usually able to accept includes:
- a marriage or civil partnership certificate;
- a decree absolute or final order;
- a deed poll;
- an updated passport or driving licence in the new name.
We will confirm in writing once the change is in place. Statements, settlement figures and any future correspondence will then be in your updated name.
Telling other places too
Updating us is one step. You may also want to update your bank, your employer’s payroll, HMRC (HM Revenue & Customs), the DVLA, the electoral register, your GP, and any insurance providers. Citizens Advice maintains a useful checklist of who to notify when you move or change your name.
If anything is unclear, please contact us — and if you have additional support needs around how we communicate with you, please tell us using the Additional Support Needs form so we can accommodate them.
