Yes — you can make a one-off overpayment at any time or pay more than your scheduled amount in a given month. Doing so reduces the interest you pay overall and can shorten the loan.
What happens if my Direct Debit fails?
A failed Direct Debit is treated as a missed payment. We will contact you to arrange a replacement payment, and you can prevent fees and credit-file impact by getting in touch early.
How do I check whether a payment has reached you?
Card payments are usually visible the same working day. If a payment is missing after three working days, request a statement of account or contact us with the date, amount and reference.
How can I make a payment?
You can pay online through the Make a Payment page, by debit card over the phone, or by setting up a Direct Debit so payments are taken automatically on your due date.
When is my payment due?
Your payment due dates are listed in your loan agreement and on your statement. If a due date falls on a weekend or bank holiday, payment is expected on or before that date.
How long does a payment take to clear?
Card payments usually show on your account the same working day. Direct Debit and bank transfers can take up to three working days to clear and be applied.
