A short-term business loan is credit your company takes for weeks rather than years — to smooth a brief cash-flow gap or seize a time-limited opportunity, then clear quickly. ### How the cost works

Interest is 0.25% a day on the outstanding balance, with a single £5 establishment fee. Because interest is charged daily, repaying early genuinely costs less, and there is no early-repayment charge. The total cost of credit is capped at 100% of principal — a hard ceiling that means your company can never repay more than double, however the loan runs.

For example, £500 over the full 84 days costs £105 in interest plus the £5 fee — £610 to repay in total (around 137% representative APR, illustrative; APR is a consumer comparison figure that does not legally apply to business lending). Every figure is shown before you sign.
